I got Ivan from a kill pen mid-April as a sad, very skinny and very helpless little horse at only 2 years old! When he arrived i immediately reached out to Maryrae from Low Places Ranch and asked for feeding suggestions. Maryrae and Andrew from Poulin were wonderful and put together a feeding schedule for my sweet Ivan to gradually start him slowly on feed. He started on small meals of Alfalfa pellets and within a week he started their awesome Poulin Fibremax. Love this place!! Perfect place in Lunenburg. Everyone is helpful and NICE!! I felt right at home when I went to rent the indoor and met with Jeff, Craig and MaryRae. The indoor is absolutely beautiful. You can't go wrong with getting grain, hay or even a good ride in the indoor.

Quality hay that is affordable

As all New England farm owners know...its exceptionally difficult to find good quality hay that is affordable. It’s even MORE difficult to find that affordable, good quality hay in the winter time since most wind up running out and cannot cut until warmer weather. Well luckily, the horses here at Rustic River Farm will always have awesome second cut hay and alfalfa thanks to Low Places Ranch in Lunenburg Ma. It’s also pretty friendly on the wallet too! Oh! PS; they sell shavings too!
